In Isaiah 6 we are transported to the Holy of Holies and see the Lord in His glory. We also see seraphim crying Holy, Holy Holy! We watch as Isaiah senses a feeling of woe because he is not worthy to be sent out as a prophet, but something amazing happens and he is cleansed from his iniquities... We are called to be a light in our country, and we are not worthy without the cleansing of our Saviour, Jesus Christ!

When you live your life empowered by The Ghost not only will your personal life show evidence of His presence in your life, but the relationships of the people around you will be in harmony. "Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord." Colossians 3:16

We are constantly bombarded with things that can cause us to stumble. The only way that you can be repaired is to put on the armor of God.

We all know how to get drunk. You drink enough alcohol and you will talk differently, you sing and act differently. The same is true of the Holy Spirit. You need to take him in every day and you will talk and sing and act differently.

No matter what your history, we all deserve eternal death. Thankfully God, our father, provided a way for us to have eternal life. He takes your sin and rewrites YOUR story.

We were left here to be witnesses for Jesus to the people God places in our lives. For a person to understand the Holy Spirit in you, they need to see it. You are the key to providing that experience for someone else. The Holy Spirit will guide you, so make sure that you are following Him!

In a world that is full of chaos and sin, how do we respond? Romans 12 has some great direction for Christians. It's a response of peace and love. You can't do this without Jesus Christ. Follow him, follow his example, and others will notice!

What's your nickname? What do people say you are behind your back? The term Christian wasn't a compliment at the time it was created. But the first church wore that insult with pride. They were followers of Christ, and people were taking notice of whether they agreed with it or not. The term Christian doesn't have the same effect as it did then. Jesus Freak might be as close as we will ever get. Be sure your love for Jesus causes those around you to take note and maybe even give you a nickname for it.

In II Kings, an important man with a terrible disease wanted to heal so severely that he was willing to pay for it. He learned that all he needed was faith. Salvation is a gift! You can be healed too! All you have to do is have faith in Jesus Christ and accept Him as your savior!

The first church in the book of Acts was radical in every way, and that is the standard that we should live up to as the church of today; radically giving, worshiping, and growing! We should be devoted to teaching disciples and completely unselfish. We should accomplish all of this while focusing on Jesus!
