The cross. We brag about it. We boast about it. Jesus went to the cross to save us from our sins, but we are thankful that he is still not hanging on the cross. He is risen!

We will all have giants show up in our lives. The way we face them makes an impression on those around us and determines your legacy. Make sure that you leave a righteous inheritance for future generations.

Courage is more than the physical actions you take. David slew the giant not because he was stronger or he had better weapons. He trusted in God. Our Courage should come from our faith in our Lord.

The Crucifixion of Jesus Christ was brutal and bloody. Our Saviour was pushed to his limits physically and emotionally. He died for you, all you have to do is accept Him as your savior, and just like the thief on the cross next to Jesus, you will be with Jesus in Paradise.

The Israelites finished the wall, then they sought the Lord through scripture, rejoicing, and obedience for almost a month. Now what? They wanted to dig deeper. They fasted, repented, and went to the Word of God again. Then they prayed. Revival brings repentance.

When Jesus was handed over to Pilot an exchange was made. Barabbas was released. Barabas was a rebel and a murderer. Jesus took his place to be hung on a cross. You are a sinner. Just like Barabbas you are not worthy. Jesus took your place too!

It's not about the walls that Nehemiah and the Israelites built. It's not about our church building or the events we put on. It about you! God wants to be with you. If you choose to be with him you will have "very great gladness!"

When Judas betrayed Jesus in the garden, Peter reacted by pulling out his sword, but it wasn't time for that. There are times we need to pull out our sword (the Word) and wield it, but we really need to seek God, because sometimes we need to pull our a sponge instead and be a servant. We are called to be shepherds, not cowboys!

For true revival, you need two things The Holy Spirit and The Word of God. The people of Nehemiah's day gathered together to hear the Law read to them. They heard until they understood, and then they rejoiced in it. We pray for revival in our generation!

It's amazing that we can take our needs and our wants to Him, but we need to pray for God's will to be done. When we are walking in His will, every prayer can be answered with a yes. Jesus went to His Father in agony, but even though going to the cross was difficult, he prayed for God's will to be done.
