You may have opposition from the outside you could even have opposition from the INSIDE! But don't ever give up on your good works! It is the devil's number one goal to stop you from working. We want the victory so put your armor on and KEEP ON WORKING!

Zacchaeus was a hated man, he was a sinner, and yes, he was short, but he was also one of the greatest examples of repentance and salvation through Jesus Christ. He ran to see Jesus, repentant, and followed him the moment he was called.

God chose Haggai for a purpose. He chose the temple for a purpose. He chose YOU for a purpose! Stop comparing your work to others, and start following the plan he has set for you, and he will provide.

The Rich Young Ruler said with his lips that Jesus was God, but when it came down to it, he couldn't sell his belongings and follow the Savior! The Blind Beggar had nothing and cried out desperately for Jesus to heal him! Which will you be?

Our enemy will do what it takes to keep you from doing the work of God. He wants you to be so discouraged that you don't even show up. BUT if you just keep working, keep praying and keep your guard up against the enemy, you will do mighty things for the LORD!

You can't keep your idols and follow the Lord - true repentance is when you say 'no' to all those old gods and turn to follow Him. The rich young ruler thought he had too much to lose, but you never lose by following Jesus with child-like faith.

Jesus left us here so that we can do something for him. He doesn't command you. He invites you! When Nehemiah arrived in Jerusalem he invited the people to clean it up, and men and women came together to complete the task. All that we do will someday be judged, but the work we do for him will be what counts. Accept the invitation and do some work for Him.

Prayer is more than an act. It's an act of faith. We need to go to our Father with Jesus and the Holy Spirit with persistence and humility.
