We should have a humble posture before the Lord and rest in the security of His provision for us.

The table reminds us that Christians are a ragtag bunch of sinners who are forgiven, commissioned, and owned.

It's ok to struggle with doubt. Jesus welcomed Thomas to come near to Him with his doubts, and He invites us to come, too.

Because we have difficulty understanding and experiencing forgiveness and cleansing, Jesus washed the disciples' feet to display how the atonement cleanses us from sin and to show us the pattern of humble service.

Jesus genuinely loves and identifies with all walks of people and we get to do the same (Mark 2:13-17)

At his baptism, Jesus assumed his role as our Redeemer, forever proving that he is a sympathetic Savoir.

In a culture that is decidedly moving away from God's values, we must not waver between two opinions: We must acknowledge that God is the Lord of our lives.

People are smart. We should treat them like adults and tell the what the Bible really says--even the hard parts. We are God's ambassadors, not his editors.
