Christians believe Jesus Christ is the true God, not just another god/myth amongst many. But what uniquely qualifies Jesus to be worthy of the worship and trust of every created thing?

Do you ever get the nagging sense that God is just perpetually disappointed with you? That you can't possibly please him? What if pleasing God is actually less about what you do for him and more about walking in the fullness of what he's already done for you?

For those who are exhausted, worn out, and on edge, there's only one ultimate solution: we need the kind of deep soul renewal that comes through the presence of God. How do we seek and how do we experience that kind of revival?

Christians are often known for all the things they're against, rather than the things they're for. Instead of merely cursing the darkness of culture, be a light that follows and points to Jesus.

It's no secret that our current culture is plagued with conflict and turmoil. Many of our neighbors are not at peace -- not with God, with others, or even with self. How do we foster a deeper shalom (peace, prosperity, welfare) in this kind of environment?

With our culture being firmly entrenched in dishonest and divisive patterns of communication, how should followers of Jesus respond?

It's natural to see/hear something we don't like in culture -- a philosophy, idea, or political position -- and to react with angry judgment. A much wiser response is to diagnose the desires, hopes, and fears behind this position so that you have the opportunity to speak the truth and grace of the Gospel in a fitting way.

How can we know what parts of culture to engage in and enjoy vs. what parts to critique or even separate from? Where is that dividing line when very few things in culture seem to be either all good or all bad?

Without even realizing it, we're all viewing culture (and ourselves) though a number of lenses that color and shape our view of what's going on. The more we are aware of these lenses, the more we can recognize their dangers and allow the corrective lens of the Gospel to redeem and relativize them.
