The disciples were first called 'Christians' in Antioch. What does that mean? What does it mean to be called a Christian in our world today, with all the confusion and baggage and opinions on the matter? And why does it matter, anyway?

How can we find (and keep) strength and courage for the great mission ahead?

Our mission this year is to invite anyone who’s been left out, pushed out, cussed out, or told to see themselves out into the place where Jesus abides. Where he prepares a rich feast for all who hunger and thirst for food that truly satisfies.

Only, the meal’s not served at some lame drive-through franchise, where we get our spiritual goods handed to us in a bag through our car windows. 

The great banquet is a good ol’ fashion sit down family meal.
