This weeks message is the first of a brand new series called "We Proclaim" from our very own Pastor Alex DiMare. The title of this message is "Prepare The Way" and it really communicates the fact that we are people in which are graced to create a path into peoples lives and hearts. Over the next few weeks as we gear up for Easter Sunday, we will be able to ready ourselves to be sharers of the Gospel in an incredibly impactful way.

Pastor Wayne Carector brings a word for our church titled "Blended Family". Living our lives in this world means that we are amongst other people who are not of the same background, ethnicity, preferences, opinions and perspectives. This is a beautiful thing that God has made a reality but too often we let what is made to be significant and for our benefit a negative thing. We see the world as we are broken and unfixable. Pastor Wayne points out that "Jesus is the bond that holds the blended family together." When we make the perspective our Jesus our perspective, we start to see that being in a blended with the people in our circle, we start to see the purpose we have in life.

This week we had the honor and privilege to hear from our very own Senior Pastor Christina Gard. This Word that she brought is on time and for the people of The Church. WE NEED YOU. Pastor Christina brings into context the story of Ruth and Naomi in the book of Ruth and what it looks like to stick close to the people that may be pushing us away. Who are you sticking close to that says they don't need you to? Who in your life is in need that seems to not need anything on the surface but deep down is crying out for help? Let's be a discerning people of God that is present in our friendships and relationships so that we can be Jesus to them. This week Pastor Alex spoke a standalone message titled: Active Faith. One major point Pastor Alex makes is that "What we do in this room should be a full display of a true individual active faith". This happens when we follow, acknowledge, seek, know, obey, and abide in Him. When Jesus becomes our everything, we start to live out our active faith in a true and effective that changes our own life and the lives of the people around us. In this message, Pastor Andrew Gard, our Senior Pastor, talks about how we as people make up the body of Christ, but we can forget that we need all the other parts of the body when it comes to our walk of faith. Us as individuals by ourselves do not make up the Body of Christ, but us as a collective make up the body of Christ, therefore we must be in community with each other in order to really know how we are doing with our walk with Jesus. This week we had our Invite Sunday which is such an amazing Sunday at our church. We got to see new faces and God do many incredible things in the lives of the people. Be encouraged by the promise of 1 Corinthians 5:17 which states that "if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!".
