This message is based on the scripture Matthew 5:4. This scripture simply says "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted". This is assurance by the Word of God that when we go through trials that cause us times of grieving, we will indeed be comforted by our God who loves us and knows best for us. Jesus is aquatinted with our grief, He is with us in the hardest and darkest of times. He has compassion on His people. Pastor Alex points out that in John 11:35, there is proof of this compassion because it says "Jesus Wept". Whether you are going through a time of mourning right now, or in the future, be encouraged by the assurance of Christs comfort and compassion towards you in all circumstances.

On this particular Sunday we had the honor and privilege of hearing from our very own Senior Pastor of Grace City Church, Andrew Gard. These are always special and powerful moments. This message is one of great challenge and helps us focus on the more uncommon way of dealing with the pain we face in our lives. Pastor Andrew makes such a great point when he states: "Your pain is not the problem, your filter for that pain is the problem". As Andrew walks through 2 Corinthians 12:5-10, be encouraged that even in the greatest pain and darkest moments of your life, there is a God who loves you and is working in the midst of it all to ultimately bring goodness to your life.

This week, Pastor Alex kicks off the Blessed Are Those Series based around the Beatitudes. In this message, he is preaching out of Matthew 5:3 - "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven." We are encouraged to be so dependent on God, that no matter what life throws at us, we don't take matters into our own hands. When Jesus is talking about the poor in spirit, he is speaking of those who depend on him. So be challenged and encouraged going into this week to be dependent on the Lord!

This message was brought by our Pastor Alex DiMare on our first ever Easter Sunday. This was a Sunday where salvations happened and miracles took place. The message is titled "Still In Control" and it is all based around a few scriptures but one being Romans 8:5-14. This scripture points out that "The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the spirit is life and peace. Pastor Alex gives us a beautiful charge to let our God have control of our minds as we give our minds and hearts to govern. Enjoy and be encouraged this timely message.

This message is titled "Expect the King" and was preached by Pastor Alex DiMare. This week, Alex challenges us to live in expectation of the King. He gives us four questions to ask ourselves to make sure that we have CLEAR expectations of Jesus. Are we asking him of things we want or need? Or are we asking for what's right for us? This week we had the honor and privilege to hear from one of our creative pastors, Kenzie Walker. This message was titled: Second Wind. One major point that Kenzie made is that faith is pushing past the point of hearing the applause at the end of the finish line. One of our ultimate goals as Christ followers is to hear the words "Well done my good and faithful servant". Listen and be encouraged as Pastor Kenzie gives us practical ways for this to be applied to your life.

This message that our Pastor Alex DiMare communicated is based out of the passage of Acts 2:42-47. This message is an encouragement to us that is meant to help us move forward completely devoted to the teachings of Jesus. When the church is surrendered to the devotion of Christ, the Word successfully goes forth and true disciples are made. Let's apply this and watch God's plan unfold in a powerful way.

This weeks message called "Know The Truth" was brought by our very own Pastor Alex Dimare. This message is summed up in its title. We must know the Truth of who Jesus is in our lives. Alex makes an amazing point: "Having the truth means you can apply truth to your situation, but KNOWING the truth means you apply your situation to truth" This message was so encouraging for our church and was so needed. This sermon is communicated by one of our main core team members, Wayne Carector. Wayne is our Ministries Pastor and he leads his team with such grace and empowerment and is a major asset to our church. This message is called "Freedom Bound" and is a continuation of the series our Pastor, Alex Dimare, is in the middle of called "Frame Of Reference". This spiritual freedom that wayne is talking about is something that all of us need to be aware of that we have. When we walk in spiritual freedom, we begin to see the call of God on our lives more clearly and we begin to walk in that calling more confidently.

On this particular Sunday we had our Ministries Pastor from our Lakeland location Jon Laurenzo bring the word. This message is timely call to action to sow into the call of God on our lives not just on a Sunday morning, but even more so on our Monday through Saturdays. Pastor Jon communicates such an important point that our world has been hijacked into not celebrating what is done in the private which in turn means that "when the world stops celebrating the private it stops operating in the anointing."

We are called to sew into our anointing in a way that empowers the us to operate in the anointing of the Holy Spirit no matter the work place we are in, the family situation we are in, or the things we are putting out hands to. Listen and be encouraged to go forward knowing that those who call on the name of Jesus are anointed to changed the lives and the world around us.
