It seems as though leaders at the highest level have the hardest time with integrity. We're quick to make assumptions and judegments when a person's sin is found out. The sad reality is that each of us have plenty of sin to deal with in our own lives. This week we see how Jesus clearly reminds us to repent of our sin before trying to hod others accountable.

There are two topics of conversation most people avoid when in large groups: politics and religion. This tension has existed for far longer than the separation of church and state in the Bill of Rights. As a matter of fact, Jesus himself dealt with the tension between politics and the church. Regardless of the changing political landscape, one thing remains constant and true; God is in control of all...even politics.

Many men fail to lead not because of lack of ability, but because of insecurity. Insecurity can be defined as a fear of future rejection based on past failure. God's requirement for leadership isn't fearlessness; He calls us to be courageous. This week we look at the final component of Biblical Masculinity: Lead Reliably.

Being a man is far more than facial hair and woodworking. This week we discuss the second of three characteristics of Biblical masculinity. Speaking truthfully is always motivated by love and is edifying to the hearer. Paul teaches these critical components in Ephesians 4.

What makes a man? There are a lot of answers to that question. However, when it comes to Biblical Masculinity, there are some clear guidelines. Being made in God's likeness, we are to reflect God in our lives through representation, responsibility, and relationship. In this way we will be the kind of man who lives boldly.

Each and every person was created for a purpose. As we celebrate our 2015 graduates, we're taking time to consider who we were made to be. Jesus teaches us in John 15 that in order to truly live the lives we're meant to live, we must abide in him. Only then will our lives produce the fruit we were created to produce.

We have become a people of the immediate. Whether it's losing weight, ordering a meal, or finding our next career move, we want to have a solution now. Our faith journey is no different. However, the Apostle Paul tells us in Philippians that growing in intimacy with God requires perseverance and commitment. If we truly want to grow in faith we must be disciplined and obediently work out our salvation as God molds us into the people he created us to be.

Talent is discovered when our abilities intersect with enjoyment. Most people develop a passion for his or her area of gifting. The question for us however, is how are we using our gifts and abilities for the glory of God. He has given us these gifts to be used for His purpose.

It's very easy to find ourselves caught up in the pursuit and accumulation of stuff. Jesus clearly warned that the "treasure" of this earth is fleeting. He encourages us to "store up treasure in heaven." This week we discover that being generous is far more than praying to be generous.

Each of us have a limited amount of time on planet earth. Unfortunately, we don't typically treat our time as finite. The most urgent or immediate agenda items get our time and attention. We mistake immediate for important. What would happen if we started investing our time? What if we started living for more than just today?
