In this sermon Tony takes the statement that Peter speaks when he heals the lame man, “in the name of Jesus Christ” and shows us the depth of meaning in that phrase. It is so much more than just a way to end your prayers, it should be the theme of the Christian’s life.

In this sermon we return to Acts 3 where Peter heals a man born lame. But there is something else the Peter did, he saw an open door to preach and he did it. He shared the gospel because the opportunity was there. This is what we all should do - want to share the gospel, be ready, and walk thru the open door!

It would seem we forget just how lethal sin is and in this sermon we are reminded that when we sin we forsake God, try to make life work on our own, are deceived, and harden our heart. No one gets away with sinning. 

This is the second sermon on suffering in Tony’s series “The Toxic Soul.” Today Tony shows us how God is sovereign in and over our suffering and the good He is working out in us through it.

Tony continues his series “The Toxic Soul” with this sermon from Isaiah 30. Suffering can be toxic for the soul, mainly if you do not understand what is going on in suffering. If all you see is the pain, then that can be toxic. But if you see God and His all loving hand in it then you see reality and are blessed.

We groan, along with all of creation, because we know something isn’t right. We are off. Things are not as they should be. But sadly, we gravitate toward toxicity to find answers and satisfaction.
