We often value what doesn't matter and miss what does. What if heaven's beauty is only a small part of its true importance?

Isn't it strange that at various points in our lives, we've stopped to think about what happens after we die? In some ways it feels morbid. In others, it feels hopeful. But the deeper truth is that ALL of us have a longing to experience God in His fullness. The thing is, Jesus has a lot to say about Heaven that we believe will challenge and encourage you!

Trusting God's goodness sets us free from anxiety and fear of possibly making mistakes. Caring how details unfold, but too much keeps us paralyzed and we can't move forward. It's not about making perfect choices every time, it's about loving and trusting Jesus, director of our path and promising to be with us, loving us, and growing us.

Why is decision-making difficult and anxiety-inducing at times? We need to be honest and decide if we want God in our decisions. God cares about us and our decisions if we turn to Him to help guide us and give us wisdom.

Who's Zacchaeus? I'm Zacchaeus, you're Zacchaeus. For all have fallen short. We're all Zacchaeus, we're all dirty rotten sinners. But the best news we can give you is, Jesus is a friend of sinners. He loves us. And He meets us in the middle of our mess. That's His heart. That's who He is. And when you meet Him and fall in love with Him. Everything changes.

If your life isn't changing, if you aren't being transformed by the truth of Jesus, you've never truly met the grace of Jesus. Jesus if full of grace and full of truth. That's who He is, that's the heart of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

No matter what you're facing today, you can run to Him and cry out to Him. We do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses. We have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are, yet he did not sin. And nothing brings Him more joy than to come alongside of us in our time of need, and give us just the right mercy and just the right grace to help us. That's who He is. That's what makes His heart beat out of His chest. That's the heart of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Jesus finds joy in saying, you're my son, you're my daughter, you're part of the family, you were dead but know our alive, you were lost but now you're found. Let's celebrate. This makes Jesus happy. That's the heart of Jesus.

If you were to ask the person that knows you best, "What's in your heart?" They would probably describe your passions and desires. This represents what you love and who you are. In this series, we will dive into Jesus' heart, who He is and His love for us. This weekend we will look at Matthew 11:28-30 and how He is there for those that are burdened and need rest!

Can you trust God, even when things are out of your control? You see we all have a choice, we can choose worry, or we can choose trust. But never forget, as Christians, we were made for more. We don't have to fall for the lie of the Enemy. We don't have to live in worry. We don't have to be overwhelmed and wrapped around the axle with stress. Because if we'll trust him, God is faithful, and He promises to take care of our every need.
