Paul delivers a strong warning in Galatians 1:6-9: distorting the gospel has serious consequences. The Galatians were quickly turning away from the truth, embracing a different gospel that was no gospel at all. Paul makes it clear—twisting the gospel leads to desertion from Christ, deception, trouble, and ultimately, a curse.

When the gospel is distorted, people are led away from the grace of Christ and turn to something false. Instead of freedom, they find confusion. Instead of salvation, they face condemnation. Paul doesn’t soften his words—those who preach a false gospel stand under God’s curse.
