This series our challenge to the people of Grace is to dive deeper in walking with Jesus Face to Face, more than you ever have before. In our highs and lows, being Face to Face with Jesus changes everything. By seeing the way Jesus does it with others throughout the stories we’ll cover, we can then learn how we can walk with Jesus just the same.

In our first full series for 2024, Consumer or Consumed?, we are tying in the heartbeat of “Hallelujah” and taking a more introspective look at ourselves and our longing and hungering for God. We are ineffective being just “consumers”. But something comes alive in us when we bask in the presence of God as he “consumes” us - he is afterall, an all consuming fire (see Hebrews 12:29).

Every year, Pastor Des shares his word for the year. This word is an outflow of what the Lord is leading him in personally, but also the vision he is bestowing upon him for Grace Community Church! This one-off message is a lay up to our upcoming new series called Consumer or Consumed? and is designed to inspire and motivate us in what God is doing in our lives now and for the New Year!

This Christmas season, we are taking a unique approach to the Christmas story to explore some unexpected details in the preparation, arrival, and life of Jesus. Too often we want to live in a predictable world. Doing so, we often miss some of the awe and wonder of the Christmas story.
