Nehemiah will face his most difficult battles yet - relentless attacks from the enemy from inside and out. They will require biblical thinking. He will have to saturate his emotions and will with truths that he already knowsabout who God is and who he is.

SUMMARY: Nehemiah was angry when he discovered how the nobles and officials were behaving with their finances. Their selfishness was causing real suffering and injustice. He shows a better way to steward ones wealth and be generous to others to advance Gods kingdom, as Nehemiah did.

Nehemiah and those with him got to work. Folks from all walks of life worked together for something and someone greater than themselves or their identities. If we are going to live for something more than our trivial agendas to make our names great, we must be convinced of God's truth, goodness, and beauty on display in the gospel of Jesus Christ and advanced in the church's work.

Nehemiah probably had no idea what was in store when he prayed. But when a man gets into harmony with God, God prepares him for the work He has for him. God also prepares others to join in the work.

Those who love God and His kingdom who knowand love the Bible will pray and thoughtfully lay down their lives to advance Gods work today - thegospel.

SUMMARY: Well look at the contrast between the Glory of God displayed to Pharaoh versus the Glory of God displayed to Moses. Moses saw Gods Goodness. Pharaoh saw Gods Power in Judgement. Well end with these two men's responses and see that we each have the same two choices. Submissive Worship or Defiant Pride.
