Advent 2021 - Week 1 - Gods people had a long journey of hope from the Old Testament whispers. Gods faithfulness fuels the hope of Gods people today. We have hope based on Gods Word, Gods Character, and Gods Faithfulness. Thats the journey that brings us to the living hope we have in Romans 5.

SUMMARY: Jesus challenges us to be honest in the way we talk to others. He is also calling us to resist hostile retaliation in the way we treat others. Imagine what a refreshing change of pace that would be in our current climateif Christians were salt and light in these simple ways.

Summary: Divorce should be rare among Gods people. Jesus loves the family and purity. The Lord desires reconciliation for His people as a picture of what grace can do.

In an increasingly "open" society with regard to sexual immorality, Jesus's words remind us that sinful lust leads us down the same dead-end road that adultery does. Treasuring Christ above all in our hearts will lead the rest of our bodies to LIFE...not death!
