1 Samuel 2:12-36

1 Samuel 2:1-11 -- Salvation by God's power is salvation for God's purposes.

1 Samuel 1:1-28 -- God wants more for us than we want for ourselves, but we need Him even more than we need the good things He gives.

Ephesians 4:11-16 -- Biblical church growth is remarkably relational. It's personal in both the horizontal and vertical dimensions. The goal is for believers to be the visible, corporate representation of Jesus.

John 17:20-26 -- Much of the working-out of the Gospel happens in our relationships with each other, but our relationships also serve a larger purpose

We need help, and we need to help each other, to move toward a gospel-shaped life.
