Pastor Andrew continues our series in Revelation buy looking at the church Sardis. The focus of the message is on the church's identity in Jesus. Identity in Jesus matters more than your reputation for Jesus. Our reputation with the world will one day pass away. But our identity in Christ will last forever.

Sometimes it can be tempting to add something to our worship of Jesus that does not belong. We can knowingly or unknowingly elevate something and worship it as an equal to Jesus. That’s what the people of Thyatira were tempted to do from forces both inside and outside the church. How do we make sure we are worshiping only Jesus and nothing else?

How do we overcome temptation? Overcoming temptation means trusting God's map even when your GPS is telling you something different. Your identity will ultimately decide your response to temptation.

Pastor Tim takes us into our third week looking at the churches in Revelation. As we read the letter to Pergamum we ask the question, "Am I a Christian out of convenience or conviction?"

What does the Bible say about persecution? This week we look at what Jesus has to say to the church of Smyrna in Revelation chapter 2. Jesus has some difficult words for the church but he also has a great encouragement to them. What should we do and how should we react when we face suffering and persecution in our lives?
