Blessed are the pure in heart- for they shall see God...... God doesn't save us from our sins to go out and live in our sins-

There is a silent lesson-and a silent preacher who is there -in the casket-- death is there to teach those of us who are still alive- who are present to mourn the loss of the one whom has died to consider the end of our lives - TO LAY IT TO HEART and to consider our end-

You must NOT idolize or inordinately exalt pastors and-or gospel preachers in the church- you are not to glorify-boast in men, but in God- - So, how are you to think of pastors-gospel ministers- AS WE ARE TAUGHT to think of them from the Word- - They are to be respected - honored in their work and labors for the Lord- they are to be submitted to and obeyed by the believers under their care- but they are ONLY under-shepherds-under-rowers in the church of the Lord Jesus Christ- they are NEVER to be exalted to the place of being lords over God's heritage. ...... The Corinthians were still very immature as a church body-

Then all the elders of Israel gathered themselves together, and came to Samuel unto Ramah,-1 Samuel 8-5-And said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways- now make us a king to judge us like all the nations.

If any of us would have a good name in this life- it will only be because of that Good Name of Jesus Christ in whom we have come to trust. It is through faith in His Most Excellent Name that we are saved and have forgiveness for our sins---it is through faith in His most excellent and worthy Name that we are changed from sinners to--saints and from children of wrath to children of God.

It's terrible to be deceived, it's worse when YOU are the one deceiving YOU- and when you're the one believing a lie- Don't deceive yourself in regard to your own soul- cast away your pride and arrogance and believe the truth of God's Word- Of course, Paul is speaking to and about preachers deceiving themselves and thinking highly of themselves- but again, this applies to anyone and everyone- -God will NOT allow His church to be ruined or destroyed, but he will destroy those that would intentionally corrupt His body with false teachings or the wisdom of this world.

From greediness, hoarding, and getting to contentment, satisfaction, and understanding THAT, whatever our portion is in this life- it may be riches and wealth- - IT IS A GIFT FROM GOD to be able to enjoy that for which we have labored-

Who was the architect of both the tabernacle and temple- God was- God commanded Moses in the pattern -architecture- and materials for the tabernacle, and God gave Solomon wisdom in the building and materials to build the temple. - - If God was going to dwell in the tabernacle-put His Name on the temple, it MUST be built according to His commands-plans-materials. This was to be no ordinary house.

Paul wanted to get them off of glorying in certain gifts, and turn their hearts toward that which made the gift, and the use of it acceptable in the sight of God, who gave the gift. What did Paul teach in Chapter 13- - Forget the gift, if it is not practiced out of true love for Christ and to bring honor and glory to Him then it is a worthless gift and a worthless ability.

...covetousness - love of money ensnared an Apostle of Christ- Judas walked with the Lord for 3-1-2 years- He spent intimate time with the Lord in private- But his love for money made him hold on to IT and to DESPISE the Lord- We ought to see very clearly here in Judas the love of money being the ROOT of all evil- - Let us take heed to ourselves that we would not betray our Lord for earthly riches or for -another- love-
