Solomon beheld the terrible effects of sin in his kingdom...- Specifically, among those appointed to positions of authority and dominion in governments- ....-O that God would manifest and expose sinful men and women to themselves before the day of judgment comes- - Oh, that sinners might flee from the wrath to come- that they might see their current sinful condition before God NOW and repent-

Every circumstance- every time-season that comes to pass in your life Christian is DESIGNED to magnify God's Name -IN YOU-, and so also TO PREPARE YOU for eternity in heaven. -- Christian, always remember that you are no longer made for the world- but you were born into the family of God and into the Kingdom of Christ- you are NOW a new creature in Christ. God IS conforming you to the image of Christ - fashioning you for heaven.--God is planting and God is plucking up- You will be in the midst of both- learn from it- seek the face of God in it. Do you know what time it is- Do you realize today that you are passing away- Sinner, will you take this to heart and turn from your sins and be reconciled to God- Christian, are you living for Christ and for His glory and honor, and for that eternal season that shall never end- when time shall be no more- Or are you attaching yourself to this world and to TIME- ...Sinner- If you're here, it's because God determined that you would be here to hear His Word and the gospel of Christ- You are responsible to believe it. God is, at this moment being good-gracious- merciful to you- He is commanding you to repent- Are you being a good steward of your life-

How should someone who is a Christian and wise live their lives in this present world- This is VERY IMPORTANT, because there are so many professing Christians who are living in this world like they are of it, and in love with it. We are to enjoy our lives in this world- But we are NOT to enjoy them such ways that are sinful, ungodly, and sensual, and in ways that will draw our hearts away from God and our Lord Jesus Christ-

Why did Solomon hate life--Because after all of his earthly work and labor and wearisome toil- and after applying his heart -by wisdom- TO KNOW wisdom and madness and folly- all of it brought him no fulfillment and satisfaction in this life. Solomon's DETERMINATION brought him to DESPAIR--He lost sleep over the fact that all that he had worked so hard for- all of his successes and the results of his labor would be left to the man that had not labored for it. This is what drove Solomon to HATE LIFE in this world- this is why he also came to HATE all of his LABOR under the sun. What good is my wisdom if it won't save me from disease and death- What about all that I have labored so hard for in this life.- How to LOVE LIFE in this world-

Solomon beheld all of man's sore travail and labor under heaven, and he said- I HAVE SEEN IT ALL- I have seen all of the things that man labors and wearies himself for in his search, and in his quest for happiness and fulfillment in his life under heaven.--It's vanity and vexation of spirit- it's like chasing the wind- Ecclesiastes 7-25--Ecclesiastes 2-13-16--Psalm 111-10--i. Proverbs 2-6, 4-7, 15-33, James 1-5, Ecclesiastes 2-26---Proverbs 1-5, 12-15, 15-5, 18-15--Proverbs 23-9, 1-7b, 26-12, 12-15--Proverbs 22-3--Psalm 49-5-20, 39-4-11---Ecclesiastes 2-15-16--2 Timothy 3-14-17 --John 17-3, 1 John 5-20 --Psalm 51-10-12, 16-11, 17-15, Ephesians 3-16-19-- Luke 14-26- ---If you're lost, Hear the gospel and LIVE- KNOW the Holy Scriptures which are able to make you WISE unto salvation- Turn from your sins to Christ in repentance and faith.-The fear of the LORD is the Genesis of wisdom- If you lack wisdom, which we ALL DO- ask for it from God, for He is the source of it- But, understand that you won't get it if you're NOT in the Word and if you're NOT walking in obedience to God's revealed will.

In the book of Ecclesiastes, Solomon is crying out to all of humanity, and teaching us about life- our time in this world is spent laboring and wearying ourselves, -literally killing ourselves- for things under the sun- which he likens to chasing after the wind- for things that will never satisfy our souls.---I've done it all, saith Solomon, and I've had it all- and when it's all said and done, all that I had never satisfied my soul- ---------------1 Thessalonians 1-5- ---1 Kings 4-29---Proverbs 3-5-7, 13-18 ---Ecclesiastes 2-1-3 ---Psalm 16-11, 36-5-8, Hebrews 11-24-27- Psalm 119-10 --Don't be a lover of worldly pleasures- Be a lover of God- ONLY THEN will you KNOW TRUE happiness and real and lasting pleasures--GIVE your heart to search and seek TO KNOW the true and living God- In HIS presence is FULLNESS of joy and unceasing pleasures. -James Downing Sr

Brethren, has God gotten our attention- Are we listening to God- Or are we going to just go on living our quarantined lives as if God's judgment hasn't fallen upon our nation and the world- It's time for the church to wake up- Romans 13-11--O for ONE LEADER, one senator, one member of congress, our governor or our President to call a news conference, to call our nation and our leaders to repentance before God- To call for national prayer and fasting and confession of our sins before God-- ......For Nineveh, God determined to be merciful, and to not destroy that great city- but that was not the case for Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboim.

- Don't spend your life laboring and wearying yourself in the world to get MORE of the world, for you will never be satisfied- A continued attraction to the world and its pleasures is a fatal attraction- dangerous to the souls of every one of you here whether you're a saint or a sinner-- Scripture used -----Ecclesiastes 12-11--. Ecclesiastes 12-10-11 --Hebrews 4-12, Acts 2-37, 9-5-- Jeremiah 3-15--Ecclesiastes 12-8--Ecclesiastes 2-9-11, 4-7-8, 5-10-11---New Birth- John 3-3-7, New Creature- 2 Corinthians 5-17, New Man- Ephesians 2-10, 4-21-24, Colossians 3-10 ---a NEW heavens and a NEW earth- 2 Peter 3-10-13---Proverbs 10-7, Ecclesiastes 8-10 -Psalm 112-1-6, Mark 14-9, Luke 1-48 --- -Third- There is nothing new under the sun- but in Christ, the old has passed away and all things are made new.-The luster and fame and glory of this world is dying- passing away- soon to be forgotten. Don't seek after that which is profitless and perishing-
