The only thing that seems to be spreading faster than COVID-19 is fear and anxiety! However, we serve the God of comfort and in today’s message we will see how the comfort He brings us is designed to help us comfort others.

Our world is changing rapidly as the COVID-19 Virus brings fear and panic. What should the Christian response be? This message brings to light how we should see and respond to the world- our neighbors- in the face of major challenges.

In this message we follow the bride and groom to their honeymoon on the wedding night. This chapter provides a beautiful picture of God’s grace to us in the gift of sexual intimacy.

In chapter 3 of Song of Solomon we see two snapshots as this couple’s relationship moves toward the wedding day. First, we see the fears of the Shulammite woman addressed in a dream. What will she do if the relationship doesn’t work well once married? Second, we see the steps Solomon went through to meet each need of his Bride on their wedding day. The day of the wedding is a day to rejoice, not fear!

In Chapter 2 of The Song of Solomon we see a deepening love between Solomon and the Shulammite Woman that brings them to a point of exclusivity. We also see how the couple deals with common issues that can cause big problems in relationships.

The Song of Solomon is a book that helps us understand God’s views on love, marriage and sex. In the first message of the series we see a snapshot of the attraction and dating relationship between a man and woman- and discover God’s blessing of physical, emotional and spiritual love between a husband and wife.
