God has ordained that His people will obey Him and be sanctified by Him. From His perspective, He will make this happen. From our perspective, this will occur only as we look to Christ and see all the power and benefits displayed through Him.

Holy Brethren, Christ has structured His Church to protect and guide His sheep. He has commanded us to obey and submit to our Pastor-Elders, as part of this structure- not for their sake, rather for ours, individually and corporately. By the grace of God, for the love of Christ, I trust we will submit to our King in this matter of great importance.

Tony's favorite open-air preacher is Robert Annan. Tony presented this biographical sketch of Annan, the 19th century Scottish open-air preacher, at a Herald Society conference, in 2015.

Jesus is the fulfillment of the atonement of sin typified in the ceremonial law, through Whom we receive a new heart with new desires. These desires include suffering in a manner similar to Jesus' suffering, and God-glorifying, God-pleasing using of our mouths, our bodies, and our possessions. Let us embrace all God has for us as a result of Christ's sacrifice.

Today was the first day of a new semester, at the University of Iowa. Tony was on campus crosswalking, distributing tracts, and engaging students in conversation.----Blake, seeing Tony with his -Stop and Talk- cross approached Tony. What resulted was a conversation that began as a discussion about worldview and morality and ended with the proclamation of the gospel.

As part of our orthopraxy, we are to remember the message, reflect on the way of life, and imitate the faith of our spiritual leaders- the message, the life, and the faith that never changes because it is all rooted in Jesus, who always was, always is, and always will be.
