Before Jesus is ever presented as useful, inspiring, or helpful, Scripture presents Him as supreme. In Colossians 1:15–23, Paul pulls back the curtain and shows us the glory of Christ: the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation, the One through whom and for whom all things were made.

In this message, “The King Before It All,” we see that Jesus is not one piece of life we add in when things get hard. He is before all things, above all things, and holding all things together. And the good news is that the King over creation is also the Savior who brings us back to God through His cross.
