I was trying so hard to get something done and I just had no energy left. In my frustration I said to God, “Lord, I don’t have what it takes to get this done!”

I thought I’d failed and I felt so bad…

But that’s when He reminded me of the beauty of 2 Corinthians 12:9 where Paul is BOASTING in his weakness. 

I know right?!

It’s not a thing we typically hear each other say.

“Oh, I’m really weak in that area” (um…and boasting about it?)

That day God gave me a phrase that reminds me of the astounding invitation in that verse, every time I feel weak.

“Lisa, you have ‘grace for your race"
