- Romans 13:11-14; - Pastor Peter Franz ; - Each day that God gives us as believers is one day closer to our eternal hope of heaven. Daily we need to lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of God for daily living; We need to be careful that we do not give into the flesh to fulfill its lusts and desires. We need to be ready and awake as we do not know when the Lord will make His return, but it could be very soon!

- Matthew 24:36-51 ; - Pastor Peter Franz; - One day Jesus will come back. Even though we live in a day when people laugh, and mock such a thought, His word promises that He will return again. Since Jesus’ word is true and He is a faithful God, we do not know when it will happen but we need to be ready for it may be today. We must do the work God gives us to proclaim Him as Savior in truth and life. He is our Hope that we can stand upon.

- Colossians 1:9-14 - Pastor Peter Franz - We are wonderfully blessed by God through Jesus daily. Yet, we complain about many problems and troubles that we encounter but never thank God for his provisions and promises to us. O God teach us to joyfully thank and praise You in every situation.

-Psalm 32; - Pastor Peter Franz; -When we come to Jesus and confess our sins He is faithful to forgive our sins and break the chains of guilt because of what He did for us on the cross. Jesus shed blood will wash away our sins and remove them far as the east is from the west. This is His promise.

- Genesis 39:1-12 ; -Pastor Peter Franz ;-Temptations are a challenge of life that we face every day. Lust is one of them and we must deal with it as Joseph did in Egypt. Jesus is with us and will help us face this challenge and recognize the evil in it. We need to refuse to enter into the environment which it occupies, and run away from it so we will not be trapped as Joseph did. There will be temptations in our lives until Jesus comes. We must go to Him and surrender and accept His salvation for our sins, as Jesus went to the cross and died for our sins.

- II Chronicles 26; - Pastor Peter Franz - in our daily lives we have situations where we receive praise for things that we do. We must realize that only God deserves this praise. This can cause us to have great pride which we do not deserve. Pride will cause us to sin against God and others. We must recognize that pride causes one to fall, and that any success we have comes from God. We must be willing to receive the rebuke of Godly people or God will humble the proud.

- II Timothy; - Pastor Peter Franz; - When we have Jesus as our Savior we have nothing to fear in our daily lives. We can rest in His promises for He cares for us. We can trust in Him for the future. There is no need to fear when we witness for Jesus because we have victory in Him. As believers in our weakness He is strong; He makes us conquerors through Him because he loves us .

- I Kings 19; - Pastor Peter Franz; - God wants to help those of us who are discouraged. He wants to renew, refresh and meet the needs that we have as He did with Elijah in the cave. He will reveal His glory, grace and mercy to them. He is faithful, will give us rest and His care, that He will be glorified, honored and praised in the work that He will do through us.

-Genesis 45:1-11; - Pastor Peter Franz; - Daily we can look back at events or experiences that have hurt or wounded us spiritually. Satan wants to come in to our lives and make us bitter about these events. We need ask the Lord for strength and grace to battle these situations and not let the past hinder our walk with the Lord and cause problems with relationships. We must choose to overcome bitterness, asking God for help and forgiveness in these situations.

-Philippians 4:4-9; - Pastor Peter Franz ; - We are Gods creation and made in His image. We were not created to worry, be frustrated, or anxious. Instead we need to praise God and rejoice in challenges which are placed before us. If we are consistent in prayer to God for help and meditating on Gods promises He will keep us from dwelling on frustrations and things that we have done or failed to do. We need not carry them alone. Jesus has completed the work on the cross to forgive us of our sins if we believe in Him as our Savior. Believe on Him today.
