In his third reference to the -Beloved- in chapter 3, Peter challenges us, in light of future events, to be diligent in godly living in the present.

In this passage -the second of four times in the chapter that Peter addresses his readers as -Beloved-- Peter calls upon us to be mindful of the Relativity of Time and the Long-suffering of God.

In the closing chapter Peter describes his readers as -Beloved- 4 times. In this message we look at the particular admonition attached to the first of these four references.
