This weeks sermon is based of the Parable of the Wedding Feast in Matthew 22:1-14.

Today, September 29th, is St Michael & All Angels Day - and National Coffee Day!  What a wonderful blessing that God gives us in angels!

For the next two weeks in worship we are looking at forgiveness in a two-part series, "Looking through the Lens of Forgiveness".  As Christ has forgiven us - so we too forgive others.  Hard?  Yes!  Impossible?  NO...for Christ has given and continually equips us with His grace and forgiveness and leads us to share these gifts with others!

Last week we saw Peter make the rock-solid confession that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God!  This week, Jesus calls Peter the Adversary - Satan!  What happened?!?!

Jesus said to them, "But who do you say that I am?"  Simon Peter replied, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."  That rock-solid confession that was revealed to Peter has been revealed to us as well by the work of the Holy Spirit!

Today we take a look at the Lord's Prayer, petition by petition, and see how Jesus is the answer to the Lord's Prayer!

Today's sermon is based on the Gospel lesson, Matthew 14:22-33.
