Jp begins series on the four "G's." Week one covers God is Great with a focus on Isaiah 41. It is a reminder that we are not in control, but can find comfort in that God is.
JP finishes up the series on Jonah with the end of chapter 4 and the emphasis on God's grace upon grace to Jonah as well as to all of us. God calls us to move to compassion for a dying world, leaving behind our notions of self-righteousness and selfish intent.
Luke covers the first part of Jonah 4 and how God continues to be gracious in the face of Jonah's anger. He reminds us that emotions have a role to play but ultimately fall before the commands of God.
JP talked about the ways that God uses broken, sinful people to accomplish His purposes. He can use anyone, regardless of background and works through our obedience.
