If you are grieving, weary, or struggling to keep going, this episode is a reminder that God’s grace is still sufficient — even here. 💛
Scripture:
“Fear not, for I am with you… I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” — Isaiah 41:10
In this week’s episode of Grace in Every Season Podcast, I’m sharing from a very real and vulnerable place.
Sometimes people think you’re strong simply because you keep showing up… but inside, you may feel exhausted, overwhelmed, grieving, and brokenhearted.
Since losing my son, there have been many moments where I have not felt strong at all. Yet through it all, I am learning that God’s grace truly is sufficient — even in weakness.
If you are walking through grief, heartbreak, exhaustion, or a season where you feel like you have nothing left to give, I pray this episode encourages you and reminds you that you do not have to carry it all in your own strength.
Scripture:
“My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9
This week’s episode:
Grace When You Don’t Feel Strong 🌻
Grief has a way of making you feel like the world keeps moving… while your heart stands still.
In this week’s episode of Grace in Every Season Podcast, I’m sharing honestly about what it feels like to continue walking through everyday life while carrying deep heartbreak after losing my son Joey.
There are moments where grief comes quietly…
and moments where it crashes over you without warning.
But even here, in the middle of sorrow, God remains near to the brokenhearted.
If you are grieving too, I pray this episode reminds you that you are not alone and that God is holding you, even in the pain. 💛
🎙️ New Episode:

🎙 Grace in Every Season Podcast
with Denise Schwabe, CHHC
In this deeply personal episode, I share from the midst of loss.
My son has gone home to be with the Lord, and I am now preparing for his memorial service.
Just days before he passed, he called on the name of Jesus after a lifetime of denying Him—and that changes everything.
This episode is about grieving… but not without hope.
If you are walking through loss, heartbreak, or a heavy season, I pray this reminds you that in Christ, this is not the end.
In this episode, I share from a very real place in the middle of my journey.
After days of driving across the country—through mountains, deserts, and long, quiet roads—I’ve now arrived to be with my son in his final days.
This is not a message from the other side of the story…
this is from right in the middle of it.
There are moments in life where the road feels long, the weight feels heavy, and we don’t know what’s ahead. And yet, God calls us to keep going.
In this episode, I talk about what it looks like to walk in faith when you don’t have the strength for the whole journey—only the grace for the next step.
If you’re walking through something difficult right now, I pray this encourages you to keep going… one step at a time.
You are not alone.
God is with you in every mile, every moment, and every step ahead.
In this episode, I share what it looks like to walk forward in faith when the road ahead is heavy and uncertain.
I’m preparing to travel across the country to be with my son in his final days… and in this moment, I am leaning on the grace of God like never before.
There are seasons in life where we don’t have all the answers.
Where we don’t know what tomorrow holds.
Where our hearts are breaking… yet God is calling us to keep walking.
This episode is about that kind of grace.
The grace that meets you in the unknown.
The grace that strengthens you when you feel weak.
The grace that carries you, one step at a time.
If you’re facing a difficult journey… if you’re walking through grief, uncertainty, or a situation you didn’t expect—this episode is for you.
You are not walking alone.
God goes before you.
And His grace will be there for every step ahead.
This episode comes from one of the most sacred and heartbreaking moments of my life.
My son is in his final days.
After being in a coma and on life support, the ventilator was removed—and we were given a small window of time to speak, pray, and be together over video.
And in that time… something only God could do happened.
My son, who denied Jesus his entire life, called on Him.
He said he believes—and asked Jesus to save him.
This was not something I could have caused or convinced him of.
This was the mercy of God.
In this episode, I share what happened, the truth of the Gospel found in Romans 10, and the hope we have in knowing that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
If you are listening to this and you still have breath… it is not too late.
There are moments in life when the weight feels too heavy to carry… and this is one of those moments.
In this episode, I open up about what I’m walking through right now as my son is on life support, facing liver failure and complications that only God can intervene in.
At the same time, I’m still showing up—continuing the ministry God has called me to, not in my own strength, but in His.
This isn’t a message from a place of having it all together.
This is a message from the middle.
If you’ve ever found yourself in a place where you’re not ok… but you’re still holding on to God, this episode is for you.
Because sometimes faith doesn’t look like strength—
sometimes it simply looks like staying.
What do you do when you want to trust God… but your faith feels weak?
In this episode, we talk honestly about those moments when doubt, fear, and uncertainty creep in—even when you know God is good. If you’ve ever found yourself praying, “Lord, I trust You… but I’m struggling,” this message is for you.
You’ll be reminded that you’re not alone in this journey. God sees your heart, He understands your weakness, and He is not asking for perfect faith—He is inviting you into deeper trust.
Together, we’ll walk through what it looks like to:
✨ Trust God even when you don’t understand
✨ Stay anchored when your emotions feel overwhelming
✨ Surrender control and rest in His faithfulness
✨ Take small, faith-filled steps when trust feels hard
This episode is a gentle encouragement to keep going, keep seeking, and keep placing your trust in the One who is always faithful—no matter how you feel.
💛 You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to keep turning to Him.
