As we close out our series in the book of Proverbs, we look at Proverbs 9 and the invitations to go to Wisdom's house or Folly's house. God's word through this illustration announces to us, "Don’t follow folly; listen to the life-giving voice of wisdom."

The angels proclaimed at the birth of Jesus, "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased." Yet Jesus himself said that he did not come to bring peace on earth. Still, for those who will bow before him in faith, he brings peace with God, peace with all people, peace in our lives, and peace for eternity.
