God graciously gives the church leaders transformed by the gospel who boldly proclaim the gospel. Elders are called to be marked by character that cannot be questioned, instruction that values sound doctrine, and confrontation that exposes lies.

The book of Titus teaches us that the gospel is powerful enough to transform the worst of people into godly members of Christ’s church. It is a clear call for us to trust the gospel to do the work of salvation and sanctification.
