In this short episode I talk of something that has happened to all of us at one time or another. We let an offense throw us off and take us to a place of anger, bitterness and unforgiveness. We have to press forward in prayer and reading scripture. It is not easy but God is faithful and will bring you thru it!

In this episode I speak about the power in our words and how it can impact our lives so drastically. It is so important to consider what we are going to say before we say it. Does it bless them? Does it encourage them? Does it edify them? If not, probably don’t say it.

In this episode I talk about what good could possibly come from a devastating fire. There is beauty from the ashes, new growth, new life. Sometimes God needs to purify us so to speak and brings us trials and “fires” in our lives to do that!

In this the kick off episode of Grace is for the Journey, I talk briefly about my own struggle with unforgiveness and the brokenness in my life. And not realizing the blessings and opportunities I missed because of my own unforgiveness. When we need God the most is when we are at our worst. When we feel the shame and embarrassment of our sins and choices we have made in life, that’s when we need God the most. We get tired from carrying burdens we were not meant to carry.

Back after a hiatus and a lot of self reflection, a time when I was almost once again lost the battle. Whatever you are going thru, it does get better. We don’t see that all the time, but it does! Stay strong!

In this first episode, I start our journey on having a more child like faith in our prayers. We begin to remove the onus of prayer. Like so many things we over-complicate it, all God wants is us to come before him and spend time with him.

Life is full of detours and rabbit trails. Rarely do we go directly from point A to point B. But no matter what path you are on, no matter what detour you took. God is there and waiting to show you how to get back on the right path. And no matter how many detours you take, he is there and he loves you the same as he always has.

We all have fences in our lives and so often we will keep God out or confined to only the area we want Him in. We have to soften our hearts and allow God to transform our hearts and minds.
