what sounds soft is actually the hardest thing to do. 

one of the most difficult, yet most important lessons i’ve been given is understanding the effort & patience that grace requires. 

I can be stubborn, a control-freak, & short sighted at times & that’s shown up in my life more than I’d like to admit.

hence why this lesson has been knocking on my door in new attire, in different seasons of my life, because it was making sure that I learn it. 

but recently, it’s become really clear to me. once I was able to look past myself & the limiting beliefs I’ve had, I was able to see that patience, effort & grace are so pivotal to connection. 

& connection is something none of us can live without (even if there were times I tried to convince myself otherwise lol).

therefore, leaving this here to serve as a reminder — not just to whoever listens, but to myself when I need it.
