Exodus 15:1-21

Last week we heard a powerful summary of the Exodus story. This week, we hear that story put to music as the salvation of Israel, their deliverance by the Almighty God, is sung. You know the song of salvation too, but can you sing it?

Exodus 13:17 – 14:31

God doesn’t lead the Israelites out of Egypt in the way they might have guessed or expected. The way of the Lord is not always the easiest route but it is definitely the best one – the one that keeps us in his fold!

Exodus 12:29 – 13:16

One of the more important words in the Bible is the word remember. The major concern here is the teaching of the Exodus event to future generations, or better, teaching the next generation about the God of the Exodus—Yahweh.

Exodus 12:1-28

Through the first nine plagues, we have learned the hard way that the Lord is God, there is no other. A tenth and final plague is about to descend upon Egypt. Death will come creeping into the land. Thankfully, God provides us a way out.

Exodus 11:1-10

This is the plague that all of us will face; the plague that none can resist; the plague from which there is no coming back. This is the plague that challenges everything that you believe, the plague that makes you reevaluate what you have lived for.
