In Part 2 on our look at Possessing Eternal Life, we look at the security of eternal life and the light that it provides.

After presenting regeneration (new birth), we look at the result which is eternal life; the life of Christ which every believer possesses.

In this episode, we look at our regeneration (our new birth) which is only offered through the finished work of Christ and presents us with eternal life (John 3, Titus 3:4-7).

We build upon what we learned last week that we have been redeemed by the blood of Christ which has set us free. But not set free to indulge our desires, but to have fellowship with God the Father and His Son and to be used by them for their glory and honor!

This is Part 2 of looking at the redeeming work of Jesus Christ:

-Redeemed from the law (Galatians 3:13; 4:5)

-Redemption is only through the work of Christ (Romans 3:24; Ephesians 1:7; Hebrews 9:12)

-Future redemption of our bodies (Eph. 1:12-13)

-Christ bought/purchased us with the result that the Father now owns us for His glory

In this episode, we look at the word 'ransom' (the price paid for a slave to then be set free, to set from from misery and sin/Matthew 20:28) and 'redeemed' (to release on payment of a ransom/Titus 2:11-14; 1 Peter 1:18-9)

This time, we look at the marvelous truth that we have been justified, or declared right, in God's sight solely on the basis of Christ's work on the cross for us (Romans 3:10-28)

Today we are looking at the wonderful riches of His grace: the grace by which we are saved (Ephesians 2:8-9); by which we stand (Romans 5:1-2) and by which we have access to His throne (Hebrews 4:14-16)

In this episode, we are looking at the forgiveness which has been applied to every person who has accepted the gospel

Our first gem is that through Christ's death on the cross, I have been saved from perishing (eternal condemnation)
