Genesis 27:1-29 - Attempts to frustrate God's decree will come to nothing. Even Godly people can try to frustrate God's decree just like Abraham and Sarah did, but that will come to nothing. Abraham's seed is Jesus and all who are baptised into him.

Luke 7:37-50 - How could Jesus possibly be a prophet for he let a woman who was a sinner anoint him?

1 John 1:1-2:19 - After Cain had killed his brother he was challenged by God.

Genesis 25:1-23 -

Luke 7:11-17 - Death is terrible. The only son of a widow had died. When the Lord Jesus Christ saw her, he was moved with compassion towards her. Four people are recorded in the New Testament as having been raised by Jesus.

Genesis 24 - Abraham wanted to find a suitable wife for Isaac but was old and did not want him to marry any of the daughters of the accursed Canaanites. In Genesis 24 we see how he dealt with this.

1 Peter 1:1-25 - Peter wrote to Christians who had been scattered and persecuted. A letter of great comfort and encouragement.
