In this revelation of the Trinity, we see the life of God and the love of God. Because God is life, we have life. And Because God is love, we are to love. -This is a re-recording due to technical failure.-

In the Transfiguration, there is a revelation of who God is, who the Son is and where he is taking his people. He reveals that he will fulfill what Moses could not and make a transfigured people for himself.

There is a cost to being the Son of Man and to being a disciple of the Son of Man. Have we counted that cost-

Disciples do not often see -or understand- clearly. Jesus is the patient Teacher who leads his disciples into the truth of who he is and there is a breakthrough in Peter's confession. Who is Jesus- Who is Jesus to you-

Every physical saving act -healing- of Jesus was a teaching point for everyone to learn that we all need a Savior both physically and spiritually. What can we learn from this miracle healing- We learn that we have a good Savior and Creator who does all things well.

Jesus moves out of Jewish territory and makes his way into Gentile 'enemy' territory. And there he finds faith in one of the most unlikely places.

What is the source of the human problem- In our day and age, many Christians have become practical materialists believing that the problem is outside of us rather than within. Jesus' answer is counter-cultural and reveals our dire need of a change that comes from God. And the actions we take must be what God has prescribed and provided for us.
