As we begin our study of Revelation, we discuss taking the right approach to this mysterious book as well as focus on the best promise within it.

This week we reflect on the entire saga of Joseph and see that just like Joseph, we are right in the middle of God's plan.

In part 6 the story of Joseph reaches its emotional and hopeful conclusion. The words of Jacob at the end of the story are words that we can claim with great faith today.

Although many of us love mystery in a good book or an engaging movie, we don't so much in our own lives . . . But God does!

The Lord shows favor for Joseph over and over again. Joseph's father, Jacob, was shown this same favor but never seemed to be able to see it and rest easy in it. Why was that? What was the difference between Jacob and Joseph?

In part 3 we find that Joseph chooses to continue to honor God even when he can't see his plan. You would think this choice would make life easier for Joseph, but this week we see that is not always true.

As a teenager, Joseph receives some visions from God that seem to indicated a very promising future. But what does he do when it looks like that future isn't going to come about? What would we do?

As we begin our look at one of the most stunning examples of God's sovereignty, we go to Joseph's roots by studying the life of Jacob and ask the obvious question: "Why in the world does God choose to bless Jacob?"

Community is God's primary tool for tethering, comforting, and sustaining his children. We hope you will listen or watch this week's message and reflect more on the power of community.
