We are taking this Sunday to focus on several of the organizations and individuals with whom we partner in ministry. The highlight will be hearing from Jennifer Taylor with Refugee Hope Partners and Casey and Sarah Prince with Ubuntu and Acts of Grace.
The Book of Jude is written as a letter to warn Christians of teachers who "pervert the grace of our God" by teaching the Gospel, while their lives are being lived completely in sin and their own selfish desires. Through this warning, Jude reminds readers what it looks like to live a life in Christ, along with the goodness of God's saving and sustaining grace through Christ.
What if we told you there was a test that every Christian's faith needed to pass before it could grow into maturity? Well we believe that there is and that you can find that test in a little known passage of the little known book of Habakkuk.
This week we take a look at Jeremiah 29:11 and the dangers of plucking a verse out of the Bible as well as what we have to gain from understanding the whole context of a verse. We hope you will have a deeper and richer appreciation for this famous verse of comfort.
