The book of Ephesians sets out the wonder of God's saving grace, the privilege of belonging to the church and the pattern of life-transformation that the gospel produces.

In Luke 5-27-29, Luke records the calling of Matthew and shows what happens when Jesus comes to save a sinner.

In Luke 5-12-26, Luke shows what happens to people who have faith in the healing power of Jesus Christ no matter what their present circumstances may be.

In Luke 5-1-11, Luke shows through the story of the calling of the first disciples, that as soon as we are given to see that Jesus is the Christ, we must follow Him as obedient disciples and never turn back.

In Luke 4-31-44, the scene shifts from Nazareth to Capernaum, where Jesus continues to preach the gospel and exercise his authority.
