Growing in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus.

In this text, Paul will now provide a reason as to why he will not preach the gospel with -words of eloquent wisdom- because the gospel is sufficient in and of itself to save sinners.

In this section, Paul deals with divisions which are taking place within the church at Corinth and what he would like to see happening instead and how they can achieve unity within the church.

Christ gave to the Church two signs and seals of the new covenant. One being baptism, rite of initiation, the other being the Lord's Supper, rite of remembrance.
