In this text Paul helps us understand that in our union with Christ we have all that we need. Christ himself is our wisdom, righteousness, holiness, and sanctification.

The apostle Paul continues to gently work on the pride of the Christians in Corinth, reminding them of how and why God saved them.

Here Paul seeks to help the church in Corinth understand that the key to knowing God and unity within the church is not found in human effort or wisdom, but in the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Growing in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus.

In this text, Paul will now provide a reason as to why he will not preach the gospel with -words of eloquent wisdom- because the gospel is sufficient in and of itself to save sinners.

In this section, Paul deals with divisions which are taking place within the church at Corinth and what he would like to see happening instead and how they can achieve unity within the church.

Here Paul begins by giving thanks for the Corinthians believers for four specific areas. Hence, he wants them to know that though they are dealing with many troubles, he is ever thankful for them.
