This is the fourth step in our series on biblical peacemaking, based on Ken Sande’sThe Peacemaker. So far, we’ve explored how toGlorify God in conflict,Get the Log Out of our own eye, andGently Restore others. Now, we come toGo and Be Reconciled—actively pursuing peace in our relationships.
Reconciliation isn’t easy, but as followers of Jesus, it’s not optional. How do we take the first step when emotions are raw? What if the other person refuses to reconcile? Through Scripture and the work of the Holy Spirit, we’ll see how biblical reconciliation is not about getting backat people but getting backto them.
We’ll also dig into theFour Promises of Forgiveness, how Jesus calls us to treat those who won’t reconcile, and why overcoming evil with good (Romans 12:21) is central to peacemaking.
Next week, we’ll wrap up this series with a final message tying it all together. But for now, let’s take the next step—Go and Be Reconciled.
