There is a promise of true rest that our Father wants to give us, but we are called to make every effort to enter into it (Hebrews 4:1-11). When we let go of the old systems that keep us bound, God can then replace them with something new. It is God’s design for us to rely on the Spirit and his strength to carry us where he wants us to go. He invites us to live a life that is sustained completely by his grace (1 Corinthians 15:10).
