The world around us longs for real spiritual experiences. Pentecost Sunday celebrates the outpouring of God’s experienced presence as recorded in the book of Acts. Contrary to popular belief, the story of the Bible is mostly not about getting to Heaven, it’s the reality of Heaven getting into us. Life with God makes all things right.

There is an infilling of God's Spirit at work internally in our lives as He continually completes the work of salvation, forming us into Christlikeness, and there is also the outflowing of God's Spirit like a rushing river through our lives as He empowers us to extend the Kingdom of God.

Both Male and Female reflect the image of God. The Bible also uses the image of a Mother to describe the Character of God.

The Holy Spirit gives many spiritual gifts to Jesus' followers, and we are instructed to earnestly desire them, especially the gift of prophecy.

The Holy Spirit empowers followers of Jesus to join Him in bringing healing to people, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

An important step in preparing my heart for the infilling of the Spirit is remembering that I am not my own, God has purchased me with the life blood of Jesus Christ and my entire life now belongs to Him.
