In 2 Timothy, Paul urges Timothy to guard the treasure that has been entrusted to him. We each also have treasures entrusted to us that need to be guarded. In chapter 2 of 2 Timothy, Paul exhorts Timothy to be strengthened in the Grace of Christ Jesus. Paul says he need the strength of a soldier, of an athlete, and of a farmer.

Old and New followers of Jesus alike have all been entrusted with a treasure we are called to nurture and guard. We guard the treasure by passing it on.

Believe in Jesus and he responds beyond what we can imagine.

Ordinary followers of Jesus can make a Real Impact in the world when they enter into loving relationship with God and each other. We'll here stories of Grace Vineyard's recent missions trip to Zambia, Africa.

Chaplain Jason DiPinto looks at the story of Nehemiah and reflects on 'rebuilding community.' We will use this important story to deepen our understanding of God's Word, and learn how communities are rebuild through intentional focus, commitment to God's Word, and actively addressing problems.  

The scriptures are replete with exhortations to share the Gospel of the Kingdom in word and deed, just like farmers must continually plant seeds if they are to reap a harvest. We are exhorted, "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." (Galatians 6:9)
