The symbology of the cross is more than a beautifully crafted piece of jewelry. It's the symbol of death in the Roman Empire.

The spilling of Jesus' blood wasn't coincidence or done with the intention of making it more painful. It was done to make a way for all of us to find atonement with the Father.

The debt that Jesus paid on the cross is more than just a the debt of a bank account. It's the debt for ALL our sins.

This Sunday, Pastor Tim shares with us part 2 of "How it Works" in his Gospel series and he talks about how every aspect of the sacrifice that Jesus made for each of us, is part of God's perfect plan of redemption for ALL of us.

God’s standard for righteousness is perfection. But that is unachievable!! So, we needed Jesus to be that perfect sacrifice for all of us.

This Sunday, Pastor Tim breaks down how we needed a Savior because we were helpless and incapable of achieving perfection in the eyes of our Father. Jesus is our Savior and he’s the same yesterday, today, and forever.

For the gospel to be the “good news” that we all need to hear, there had to be a reason for it. What happened in the Garden of Eden that resulted in each of us needing a Savior?

In the second session of his sermon series “The Gospel” Pastor Tim unpacks sin and how it has impacted all of us and how Jesus is the “good news” of salvation for ALL OF US.

Like Jonah, often times we too look to "go the other way" when it comes to what God places on our hearts. It can seem just overwhelming to do what He asks us to do! But, He never sends us alone! God's heart is for all people...is yours?
