Andy Hewitt interviews Alain Emerson from Emmanuel Church and the Tobar Network as we explore what WE BELIEVE about THE CHURCH. Alain gives us a great definition of the church that is so helpful to reorientate our thoughts and our focus toward God, toward each other and toward our world: “We are a prayerful, family on mission surrendered to the Holy Spirit.”

Gillian Johnston-Wood continues our WE BELIEVE series by looking at the HOLY SPIRIT and the reality of His impact in every part of our lives. She challenges us to be expectant for the work of the Spirit and to ask God to create a hunger for more of the Spirit’s presence and power in and through us.

Paul explores what WE BELIEVE about PEOPLE. He looks at the inherent value and dignity of all people because we are all made in the image of God, but also recognises the problem of our fallen nature and the need that every single one of us has for a saviour.

Paul also continues our WE BELIEVE series by looking at the incredible reality of Jesus; that the same Jesus, who will be the final judge of our every action and deed, is the very one who suffered, died and rose again to wipe our sins clean.

Ali continues our WE BELIEVE series by considering how our statement about the divinity of Jesus is foundational to the Christian faith. We are challenged to ask how our lifestyle indicates what we really believe about Jesus and His call to walk “the narrow road that leads to life”.

Josh continues our WE BELIEVE series by looking at why and what we believe about the Bible. He leaves us with a critical question: If we do believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, are we going to keep it at arm’s length or are we going to allow it to shape and mould our entire lives?
