Ali continues our EXILES series in the book of Daniel. We look at the sobering story of the writing on the wall recorded in Daniel 5 and see that pride is at the root of many problems. 

Paul continued our EXILES series almost 25 years into the story of Daniel where he was faced with confronting the most powerful man on the planet with a message of God’s judgement. 
It’s impossible to go through life without facing conflict or confrontation but how we handle it can make all the difference in the world. In Daniel chapter 4 we see an incredible example of how difficult truths can be delivered with compassionate grace.

Josh looks at Daniel chapter 3 where we see three friends remaining faithful and ‘different’ in a foreign world. Their lack of compromise and inspiring obedience to what they knew was right led them into a powerful encounter with God.

Ali takes us through Daniel chapter 2. We consider how to live as “aliens in a foreign culture” by living consistently, listening intently and hoping eternally.  

Paul walks us through chapter 1 of Daniel and we explore the three things that helped Daniel survive and even thrive in exile. He remembered that God is in control, even when his world seemed to be falling apart. He remembered who God said he was, even when the world gave him a different name. Then he stepped out in faith with grace, understanding and respect.

Paul introduces our new series called EXILES, about the lessons we can learn from the life and times of Daniel. How was it that these four young men, conquered and captive in a foreign land, managed to hold strong to their trust in God and lived to challenge, bless and radically impact the story of an empire?
