We often times forget that God is the Author of our lives, & because of that we tend to veer off and do our thing. Sometimes it is very subtle because we may not realize we’re doing it and by the time we look up, we are on a very different path then where the Lord wants us to be. We have to stay mindful and on guard for every foot step we step. Understand, the Lord knew you before He called you, so if He called you He’s already prepared you!

So many people think they know Jesus because their surroundings may have spoken about Him or have been in a church where Jesus was spoken about. However, there is no relationship with Him, only religious mindsets. A relationship with Him will cause for a transformation in your life and you will not look like who you were before Christ truly entered into your life! Let’s get into it!!!

We all know the world’s way of handling conflicts and dealing with those who have wronged us, but Jesus teaches us His way of handling those who have mishandled us. When you began to see things His way and decide to follow His lead, it will always lead you in the right direction. Although it doesn’t feel good to turn the other way when we want to retaliate, we must obey. If we truly say we are Christians and are believers of Christ we have to learn to follow His lead and not lean into our own understanding. Allow Him to fight your battles, it is His fight ANYWAY!!!

We are all on this process of discovery that most of us have no idea we are on. What exactly is the “Process of Discovery” It is the life-long journey to discovering who you are. It is a never-ending process that you will continue to encounter in every season of your life. Having a clear understanding of this helps you take this journey with Jesus very serious. Why? Because once you understand that He is constantly processing you, you will let go of who you think you are and embrace the person He’s molding you to be. It’s a beautiful journey, sit back and take this ride with Him. He’s with you through it all!!

There are requirements to living this Christian lifestyle. One of the hardest and most painful requirements is to wait on the Lord! Waiting does not feel good, or even look good most of the time. But, it’s in the waiting that God is preparing and prepping you for what He has. Don’t Give Up in the wait… PRESS FORWARD AND WATCH THE LORD WORK!!!

Whenever you are focused on something and become determined to accomplish your goal, distractions (the enemy) will always show up. Your biggest challenge is going to be recognizing that it is a distraction then having the courage to ignore the very thing that is only meant to DISTRACT YOU! The goal is to stop you from getting there… Distractions are dangerous!!! Let’s dive in & discuss!

In all honesty; I don’t think we as a people know what a true friend is… it seems that “friendship” title gets thrown around so often that we haven’t realized half of the people we’re calling friends are in reality not that at all. After that realization, you may not know where they stand in your life or you in there’s, but we have to be honest and acknowledge that a real friend in this lifetime is truly hard to find. In God’s Word, we read plenty of times where it is said that we ought to pray one to another. But how many of us take that seriously? How many actually take the time to intercede for those that you know are in need? Or even praying for those that are just laid on your heart? Part of our assignment on earth is to PRAY for one another. If prayer will be restored, we will see the hand of God move in amazing ways!

Being a follower of Christ will always require you to “Guard Your Heart”… Why? Because when you don’t you leave room for the enemy to insert a foothold and gain access to you. It is imperative that you learn and understand how to guard your heart & protect yourself from the enemies tactics.
