Graced By Rain

On this episode of Graced By Rain, Elaine introduces her newest series "The Beauty of Frieren".

Earlier in the summer, the Amnation Pod featuring Elaine, Ryan, and Mike, discussed the anime "Frieren Journey's End".

The general consensus on that episode was how much they loved it.

So, Elaine decided to do an episode for each of the 28 episodes of season one.

Today kicks off with Episode one and what Elaine found beautiful about it.

Season 4 Episode 2 of Graced By Rain is jam packed with giggles and deep thoughts. What else would you expect when you get two best friends on one podcast together?!

Elaine Shircliff and her best friend Katie reviewed the 2016 horror novel "My Best Friend's Exorcism" by Grady Hendrix. They dove into what they liked about the book, which character had the least character development, and things they would discuss with students if this was on the required reading list for a class.

The ladies even took the quiz that was in the book about alienating your best friend.

Don't worry! If you intend on reading the book, listen to the first half of the episode. It's spoiler free!

Welcome back everyone! I’m kicking Season 4 off with a special guest, Theresa Zoe Williams, to talk about something near and dear to my heart – being Catholic. We also dove into Theresa’s substack The Future Patron Saint of Liars and Fakes and what she hopes others get out of it. Towards the end, we quickly touched on her favorite Catholic Icon Artists,Kelly Lattimore and Gracie Morbitzer, and Emo Punks who have a Catholic vibe.
