I would like to thank everyone for being here today and share some words of encouragement. A special shout-out goes to Thomas Mastrototaro and Ryan Stewart, who have been among the best editors I’ve had the pleasure of working with since the launch of this podcast. They have consistently demonstrated generosity, grace, excellence, and unwavering support throughout the entire process. I am deeply grateful for their phenomenal work and encouragement.
Thank you all!
"Leadership is about making others better as a result of your presence and making sure that impact lasts in your absence." – Sheryl Sandberg
We are ending this season with the incomparable Heather Zempel for a life-enhancing discussion on leadership and women. Heather’s brilliant insights can be applied at any stage of life’s journey—whether you are a woman or a man. Heather has paved the way for many women like myself and has become a mentor.
Heather Zempel serves as the Executive Director of the Dream Collective and a teaching pastor at National Community Church (NCC) in Washington, DC. For twenty years, Heather led discipleship strategies and leadership development environments at NCC, and she now leverages those passions to serve the Dream Collective, a network of churches, businesses, and artists seeking revival in the church, reformation in the Kingdom, and renaissance in culture. With a background in biological engineering and experience as a policy advisor in the United States Senate, she brings a unique perspective to ministry, leadership, and discipleship. She is the author of several books, including her most recent titles, Amazed and Confused and Big Change, Small Groups. She loves football, BBQ, and having adventures with her husband Ryan and their fun-loving daughter, Sawyer Elizabeth.
“A true leader has the confidence to stand alone, the courage to make tough decisions, and the compassion to listen to the needs of others.” — Douglas MacArthur.

“I have no obligation to be anyone’s friend, and no man in the world has an obligation to be mine. There are no claims or shadows of necessity. Friendship, like philosoHomephy, art, and the universe itself, is unnecessary for survival. It has no survival value; rather, it is one of those things that adds value to life.” — C.S. Lewis

Season 3, Ep 25, Part 1 and 2 is launching with a short series for both men and women. This season is one of our favorites because it brings to light ideas and topics that are deeply entrenched in our society but often superficially explored. We hope this season stirs up your desire to ask the tough questions that address the full scope of the inquiry and inspire action for the future.
We are honored to release the second part of this short series with the one and only Charles Williams, a spiritual leader, is a gatherer, pastor, singer, brother, son, friend, and most recently a husband. Don’t miss parts 1 and 2. Our inaugural topic is ‘What was and is God’s intent for men? This conversation promises to be deeply theological, philosophical, spiritual, challenging, and equipping. We hope it ignites your passion to continue the heart and hard work.
We encourage you to hold the tensions as you listen with an open heart.
